STEMskiller: Skill Set Map for Mentors of Early Career Researchers
LEARNING, TEACHING, AND SUPERVISING: Basics for early career researchers
Teaching for researchers/mentoring for scientists
Definition:
Faculty whose primary mission is to conduct research may find it challenging to balance research and teaching responsibilities, particularly at institutions without student support resources. STEMskiller, as a whole, is designed to assist researchers at such institutions by providing links to relevant high-quality information to share with mentees, allowing them to focus on specific questions and discipline-related mentorship. Over time, STEMskiller will include additional resources for specific STEM disciplines.
