Our mission is to contribute to the professional and academic success of our patrons and partners. We offer services for the development of professional skills while helping you navigate the academic information environment (e.g. searching and using academic information, citing, communicating about your research).
Our services are free of charge and provided to all (NTK registration is not required). You can schedule a consultation, attend a workshop or webinar, or explore our online tutorials and subject guides.
Support for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
We can show you the appropriate procedures and tools for finding resources for your thesis or project, including proper referencing. You can attend a workshop or webinar or schedule a consultation to discuss specific issues. We can also help you with the use of LaTeX.
Early Career Researcher Support (PhD+)
Besides providing access to a wide range of resources, we also offer support to PhD candidates and early career researchers to help them better understand the research & teaching environment and the world of scholarly communication. Consultations, bibliometric services, and specialized webinars are available, as well as funding opportunities and STEMskiller, a skill set map for mentors providing access to open materials.
Support for High Schools
We offer high school educators our assistance and collaboration in working towards achieving and maintaining an optimal level of information literacy skills for their students. We provide tailored workshops and instructional materials. Both teachers and students can schedule a consultation to discuss specific issues.
