Definition:
As noted in the introductory section (1.9), open science is often referred to as "open scholarship" or "open research." Generally speaking, open science is an umbrella term for various activities which take place in the research life cycle and which occur under various schools of thought. The resources below provide high-level overviews of open scholarship.
