Alena Dvořáková
Speciality
I work in the National Library of Technology as an Information Specialist. You can see me manning one of the Info desks or you can meet up with me for an individual consultation.
I first graduated in Biochemistry at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague and later received an MA and a PhD in English Literature at the Charles University. I have long-term experience with academic teaching and publishing in the arts and humanities both in the Czech Republic and in Britain and Ireland.
My main areas of interest are philosophy, English literature, translation studies, and literary translation.
I am here to help you with tasks such as searching for sources and citation, academic writing in both Czech and English, and choosing the right journal for your academic article – in the arts and humanities as well as the sciences.
