We can conduct customized bibliographic research for you.
We can also monitor research trends or create citation summaries.
Resources we search include domestic and international library catalogs, eResources, and other academic resources relevant to your research topic. Please note your topic must be related to the library's focus, which is science and technology.

You do not need to be a registered library patron to request these services. However, we reserve the right to not fulfill some requests if our capacity to do so is exceeded (see: Part III Section 4.5. of the Library Rules).
- Results are typically provided in the citation format used by the source.
- Bibliographic research can be compiled according to the ISO 690 standard upon request.
- Complementary research provides a basic set of possibilities for you.
- We can also monitoring research trends in your subject.
- We can provide citation summaries, but currently only for eResources the library subscribes to; typically these items are in English.
- International library catalogs; items not in the library can typically be requested via interlibrary loan.
- eResources to which the library subscribes.
- Freely-available information resources.
Research Order
- We can create a list of search terms you can replicate and summarize citations.
- You will be provided with a list of various possible resources, terms, or citations.
- Turnaround time: at least 10 business days.
- No need to be a registered patron for search across open access resources, but you must be registered patron for a search which includes licensed resources.
- Fee: 200 CZK/hour (full price list).
- Request in-person or fill out the form to start the process.
Terms and Conditions
- Cancellation: you can cancel your request via email within 24 hours after placing your request.
- Processing times vary.
- Payment upon delivery of research using your financial account online (recommended) or at our ground floor cash desk.
- Delivery: via email or in print at the second floor service desk.
We don't offer information retrieval services to high school and undergraduate students. Instead, they are encouraged to request an in-depth individual consultation where they can discuss any research topic in detail with our specialists.
